Summary
Manages a veterans’ mental-health program, handling policy, clinical support, and administrative tasks for a domiciliary care unit within a VA medical center.
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application.
Major Duties include, but are not limited to: Provide administrative support to the Chief, programmatic and clinical care, personnel issues, fiscal planning, environment of care maintenance, and in research and training Assists the Domiciliary Chief in development and implementation of policies relating to all phases of domiciliary care in coordination with various clinical, allied health and administrative services within the medical center Assists the Chief in the planning, development, implementation, monitoring, evaluating, and controlling of program operations.
