Psychology Technician

About the Position: This position is located in the Director for Mental Health, Department of Mental Health Acute and Outpatient Services Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Bethesda, MD. Hours of operation: Monday- Friday 0730 - 1600 This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

Interview patients requesting mental health treatment.

Schedule, modify, and cancel appointments via automated systems.

Maintain daily appointment schedules.

Provide in-person and telephone crisis counseling.

Assist credentialed providers in identifying mental health diagnoses.

Coordinate and conduct suicide prevention briefings and training.
