Psychosocial Rehabilitation Counselor- (PSR) Children
Ohel is seeking creative, compassionate, and dependable professionals to provide one-on-one Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) services to children with behavioral and mental health needs. Working under the supervision of a licensed clinician, you will work individually with children in their homes and communities, providing hands-on, strength--based support that promotes growth, confidence, and independence.
Responsibilities:
- Provide skill-building services focused on emotional regulation, communication, social skills, organization, time management, and problem-solving
- Implement interventions outlined in each child's personalized treatment plan
- Build positive, supportive relationships that encourage success and resilience
- Complete timely and accurate session documentation
- Participate in regular supervision and collaborate with an experienced treatment team
Requirements:
- High School diploma plus two years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health needs or Bachelor degree in Psychology, Human Services or a related field
- Creative, energetic, and able to engage children through meaningful activities
- Organized, reliable, and professional
- Strong communicator with excellent English language skills
These are part time positions, with after school and weekend hours available. Locations include Brooklyn, Queens and Far Rockaway.
Salary: $25.00 per hour
