PT: Brass Coordinator and Arranger

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Bands, this seasonal position oversees sectionals with the Marching Band Brass section and creates marching band arrangements for performances.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create and teach musical arrangements for halftime shows and stands
- Provide strategies to increase students' technique ability on the brass instruments
- Develop and monitor sectional routines for brass students.
- Assist with Marching Band Rehearsals, where needed.
- All other related duties as assigned

Minimum Job Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Three years of College Music study; bachelor’s in music preferred.
- Experience with Brass section, marching band arranging or equivalent training

Physical Demands
Ability to sit or stand for up to 8 hours/day. Some lifting (up to 25 pounds occasionally), bending, and carrying. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and to use hands and fingers to handle or feel.
