Days & Hours: Variable weekly schedule to be established by supervisor.

BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB:
The Data Analyst position is a support position for institutional research, working in the domains of institutional reporting, business analytics, and gathering, analyzing, and validating data. The primary responsibility of the Data Analyst is to provide accurate and impactful analytic reporting that will help reveal actionable next steps and guide tactics and strategy at the university
This position requires the ability to fully understand complex objectives and goals, and measurement frameworks that help ensure correct data reporting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The PT Data Analyst will:
- Work on analysis of current and historical data on students, staff, enrollment, retention, and graduation.
- Take on a pivotal role in creating enrollment, retention, and graduation dashboards for Executive Leadership, deans, program directors, faculty, and other staff.
- Assist in federal, state, and other institutional reporting.
- Assist in validating data reports and correcting potential inconsistencies statistically.
- Assist in predictive modeling and other types of ad-hoc data analysis projects.
