PT EOF Advisor
Role:
The Part-time EOF Advisor is responsible for advising and registering students for courses that will enable them to complete their degree program in a timely fashion. This role also supports recruitment efforts to increase EOF student enrollment at the College.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Access and use college data management systems to maintain student information, advisement contacts, referrals, and program data, as well as prepare an end of semester report and a variety of other reports, as needed.

Monitor and track EOF students' academic performance and progress and provide advisement (including e-advisement).

Work closely with the Director to contribute to the design, coordination and implementation of effective strategies to assist with EOF student persistence and retention efforts.

Maintain an EOF student caseload and advisement schedule campus-wide. Refer students to appropriate resources both on and off campus.

Collect and analyze data each semester to use in co-developing and co-facilitating empowering workshop offerings for EOF students.

Identify and assist with facilitation and implementation of various workshops on college success to enhance the retention of EOF students

Assist with recruitment efforts at both on- and off-campus locations; some evenings and weekends may be required.

Establish, develop, and maintain positive working relationships with high school guidance counselors, foster care case workers, and other relevant community advocacy groups to help further advance the mission of EOF.

Work collaboratively with personnel in Academic Affairs and across the Enrollment Management and Student Success Division.

Answer telephones and provide supporting program or college information to students and families.

Maintain a working knowledge of financial aid available to students, and assist students as needed through the financial aid process.

Attend training programs and serve on campus-wide committees, as required.

Travel as needed: college visits, conferences, special trips.

Adheres to FERPA and other regulatory guidelines.
