(PT) Technician
Description
- This position is open to current internal employees only.
Examples of Duties
- Installs, upgrades and troubleshoots all software, hardware and audio-visual equipment for labs, classrooms, and faculty and staff computers and associated hardware
- Assists faculty and staff with requests for assistance
- Assists with troubleshooting problems in collaboration with ITS team
- Sets up, provides support, and breaks down college-related events including but not limited to broadcasting between college locations
- Assists with telecommunications and network connectivity issues as needed
- Performs related duties as assigned
Typical Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's degree or equivalent certifications in Computer Information Systems preferred
- Experience working with Windows (e.g.,11)
Competencies and Skills:- Knowledge of computer repair
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Terms of Employment:
This position is primarily located at the Mays Landing campus but requires flexible scheduling to include evenings and weekends and duties at any Atlantic Cape location.
