PTA - Part Time Eugene
Independence Rehab is actively looking to hire a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant for our three Eugene area assisted living facilities: Emerald Valley, and Waterford Grand in Eugene, and Spring Valley in Springfield.
In this role you will provide outpatient care at the facilities on an as-needed basis. You should expect 15-20 hours of work per week.
Helping People Stay Independent in the Later Chapters of Life
Independence Rehab is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who finds purpose in helping older adults regain mobility, confidence, and dignity.
You'll work with residents navigating recovery, chronic conditions, and life transitions - providing therapy that truly changes daily life!
Whether you're a new grad looking for mentorship or an experienced PTA wanting a sustainable caseload, Independence Rehab is where clinicians feel supported and patients feel the difference.
What a Day Looks Like

- Guiding residents through mobility milestones - first steps, safe transfers, returning home
- Leading gait, balance, strengthening, and functional training sessions
- Helping reduce fall risk and build confidence with daily activities
- Collaborating closely with your PT to adjust care plans
- Working alongside nursing, OT, and speech to support whole-person recovery
- Celebrating small wins that matter deeply to patients and families
