Job description

Responsible for cleaning all public areas, rooms, corridors, personnel changing rooms, restaurants, toilets in the lobby and public areas, and all administrative offices.

When necessary, clean the rooms or floor corridors.

Clean all of the hotel windows.

Clean the carpets and mop the floors.

Clean and treat the marble surfaces.

Wipe the walls and ceilings and carry and arrange furniture.

Vacuum and dust the curtains.

Clean the chairs and carpets.

Ensure maintenance and cleaning of the devices used in the public area, learn how to use these devices, and operate them properly.

Carry materials that the Housekeeping Department needs from the storage house or warehouse.

Empty the garbage in the general areas.

When necessary, make up rooms.

Immediately hand over any lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office.

Immediately report any suspicious persons or packages to senior managers for security purposes.

Public area attendants working in the restaurants, bars, rooms, and ballrooms are responsible for vacuuming, shampooing, and window cleaning.

Responsible for cleaning and wiping all of the windows at the hotel.

Familiar with security and protection methods.

Attend vocational training.

Maintain cleanliness, friendliness, and hygiene.

Perform all tasks assigned by seniors.

Take part in the Emergency Response Teams.

Report all breakdowns identified in their section to seniors.

Anticipate that all activities and purchased equipment may impact the environment. Participate in activities organized to protect biological diversity and share individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary training.

Strive to minimize consumption of all materials and equipment currently used (paper, printed materials, etc.).

Implement necessary warnings and departmental training to save energy within the facility. Continue to apply decisions made for energy conservation.

Consider the environmental effects and energy efficiency of purchased equipment.

Carry out responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution, and minimize harmful effects on the environment.

Fulfill all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities.

Perform all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in this job description.

Qualifications

  • Education: At least a high school or vocational diploma.
  • Experience: Able to learn the job within a few months and enhance knowledge within one year.
  • Foreign language: Not expected.
  • Courses and training: Not expected.
  • Computer literacy: Not required.
  • Skills: Expected to understand standard work routines and general rules. Required to possess certification for the job if necessary. Expected to use basic tools and devices related to the job.
