Public Area Attendant
The Public Area Attendant is responsible for supporting the daily operation of the Uniform Room and maintaining the employee and back-of-house areas. Responsibilities include organizing and distributing clean uniforms, tracking soiled and laundered uniforms, handling BOH and guest laundry, and maintaining accurate inventory and distribution records. The Public Area Attendant is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and stocking of the employee cafeteria, back offices, restrooms, resort restaurants and other assigned areas. This position helps ensure a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming environment for team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Organize, maintain, and distribute clean uniforms to team members in a timely and efficient manner.
- Fulfill team member uniform requests promptly and courteously.
- Collect, sort, track, and monitor outgoing soiled uniforms/ dry cleaning and incoming laundered uniforms.
- Track and monitor uniform pickups and deliveries and maintain appropriate records.
- Maintain accurate weekly owners inventory records and promptly report shortages, discrepancies, damaged items, or other concerns to the Hskp Manager.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and secure Uniform Room & Cafeteria Inventory.
- Maintain uniform distribution records and secure key sign-in/sign-out logs and related documentation.
- Maintain Owners dry cleaning items and sort accurately
- Receive, process, track, and coordinate guest laundry according to established procedures, ensuring items are handled carefully and returned in a timely manner.
- Maintain the employee cafeteria in a clean, sanitary, stocked, and organized condition throughout the shift.
- Assist with pressure washing resort common area spaced and assigned projects around the resort.
- Clean and sanitize tables, counters, beverage stations, equipment surfaces, and other designated areas within the employee cafeteria/ Traditions & Eleven Restaurant.
- Replenish cafeteria supplies, including condiments, coffee, ice, fountain drink supplies, disposable items, and other assigned products.
- Clean BOH Offices and Employee Elevator on a daily basis.
- Monitor cafeteria supplies and notify the appropriate supervisor when additional inventory is needed.
- Clean and maintain assigned employee, public, and back-of-house restrooms in accordance with established cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Clean and maintain assigned back offices, back-of-house hallways, team member areas, and other designated spaces.
- Remove trash and maintain cleanliness and organization throughout assigned work areas.
- Monitor assigned areas throughout the shift and address cleanliness, stocking, or maintenance needs promptly.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, supply shortages, lost or damaged items, and unusual circumstances to the immediate supervisor so that appropriate corrective action may be taken.
- Follow established safety, sanitation, laundry handling, and cleaning procedures.
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while providing courteous service to team members and guests.
- Perform reasonable work-related duties and requests assigned by management that are within the team member’s ability to perform.
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
