Program Summary


We are seeking a motivated and curious intern with a passion for writing, communications, media relations, and collectibles. Internships are paid and may last from eight weeks to 90 days.

Public Relations Internship Experience


The Public Relations Intern will work alongside Heritage’s PR team and auction-category Consignment Directors on a wide range of communications projects. Responsibilities may include:


· Writing and editing post-auction press releases for smaller auctions.

· Creating and organizing online press kits.

· Researching rare collectibles, notable objects, and auction highlights.

· Building, updating, and editing targeted media lists.

· Assisting with outreach and communication with reporters.

· Supporting additional public relations and media-relations projects as needed.


The intern may also have opportunities to contribute to Heritage’s Intelligent Collector magazine. As the internship progresses, the intern may take on more advanced assignments, including drafting media advisories or press releases for higher-value auctions.

· An interest in collectibles, art, history, popular culture, or the auction industry.
