PUBLIC RELATIONS MANAGER

Job Summary: The public relations manager will be heavily involved in both internal communications and media relations and will be instrumental in the resort's community outreach activities.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrating an understanding of public relations
• Identifying and pursuing media opportunities and selling stories to local and regional media
• Capitalizing on media opportunities from new and existing activities
• Completing multiple projects simultaneously
• Coordinating events and logistics for international press visits and/or video and photo shoots
• Executing PR-driven events and other activities
• Creating and executing Sandals Foundation activities
• Assisting with the planning of guest-related resort activities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
• Minimum two years' experience in Public Relations, Hospitality or related field
• Ability to work flexible hours and to deadlines
• Proficient in MS Office and other related programmes
• Ambition, drive and a pleasant personality are a must
