Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Job Responsibilities:

- Manage public relations and maintain good communication with residents throughout the upgrading works.

- Attend to residents’ requests, feedback, and complaints, and coordinate with the project team to resolve issues promptly.

- Maintain a high standard of public relations and minimise inconvenience to residents.

- Communicate project updates, construction activities, access arrangements, and potential disruptions to affected residents.

- Liaise with HDB, Town Council, grassroots organisations, residents, and other relevant stakeholders as required.

- Assist in organising resident engagement and communication activities.

- Attend construction working committee meetings and provide administrative assistance and logistical support as directed by the SO Representative.

- Maintain proper records of residents’ feedback, complaints, and follow-up actions.

- Coordinate with the site team to address public relations matters arising from construction activities.

Requirements:

- Minimum GCE “A” Level Certificate or equivalent.

- At least 2 years of public relations work experience.

- Experience in HDB upgrading, construction, infrastructure, or community liaison works will be an advantage.

- Competent and possesses the necessary skills, knowledge, and ability to manage public relations effectively with residents.

- Able to communicate effectively in English and at least one other official language.

- Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- Able to handle residents’ requests and complaints professionally and tactfully.

- Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently and coordinate effectively with the project team.

- Willing to work on-site and attend meetings or engagement activities as required.
