Public Sector Strategic Account Executive Federal Civilian
You will own a strategic book of business across U.S. Federal Civilian agencies. You will develop and execute account plans, generate pipeline, manage complex opportunities, navigate federal procurement cycles, and lead pre-sales and post-sales activities. You will create proposals, quotes, and executive presentations, represent customer feedback, and connect DevSecOps and AI capabilities to agency mission outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support and grow strategic prospects and customers across U.S. Federal Civilian agencies.
- Build and execute account plans aligned with stakeholders, buying criteria, modernization priorities, and technology roadmaps.
- Lead account direction across pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Drive prospecting, pipeline generation, opportunity development, and forecast updates.
- Navigate federal procurement cycles and position FedRAMP-authorized solutions.
- Develop consultative proposals, quotes, and executive presentations.
- Submit customer product ideas and contribute to win/loss analysis.
- Educate customers on AI and agentic AI capabilities.
Requirements
- Experience selling technology solutions into U.S. Federal Civilian agencies.
- Understanding of the federal public sector landscape, procurement vehicles, compliance requirements, and agency buying cycles.
- Ability to manage large, complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
- Consultative sales skills.
- Communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a distributed, asynchronous environment.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery, secure software delivery, application lifecycle management, or related software development workflows.
- Ability to position FedRAMP-authorized solutions in regulated environments.
- Ability to translate AI and agentic AI capabilities into public sector value propositions.
