The Korea Publicity team is seeking a creative Publicity Manager to develop and execute publicity strategies for both local and international titles. The successful candidate will drive publicity for a diverse range of content including TV series, films, and unscripted titles, enhancing our brand reputation and audience engagement in the rapidly evolving entertainment landscape.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive publicity strategies across Netflix's local and international slate, including series, films, and unscripted titles.
• Identify compelling narratives, newsworthy moments, and culturally relevant opportunities that generate earned media coverage and audience conversation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media partners, creators, talent representatives, production partners, and influencers.
• Lead talent publicity efforts including press tours, junkets, interviews, media events, screenings, and title launches.
• Partner closely with cross-functional teams across Marketing, Social, Content, Events, and Consumer Products to deliver integrated title campaigns.
• Demonstrate strong judgment in navigating complex communications challenges, reputation issues, and fast-moving situations.
• Stay ahead of shifts in media consumption and audience behavior, leveraging emerging platforms, creator ecosystems, and new storytelling formats to maximize title impact.
• Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.

Requirements

• Have a minimum of 9 years in public relations or related expertise within the entertainment industry.
• Fluent in both English and Korean.
• Strong storytelling instincts combined with strategic thinking and a strong understanding of business goals.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity while making sound judgments in fast-moving situations.
• Excels at building relationships across the entertainment ecosystem.
