Purchase Manager

• As a Purchase Manager, you infuse our strategic sourcing endeavors with a heightened sense of ambition, a focus on delivering results, and a genuine passion for optimizing our procurement processes. Your dynamic approach and dedication significantly contribute to the success of our procurement team.

Your tasks, duties and responsibilities

• Implement effective sourcing strategies for different kind of goods and services across multiple countries in Central, Southern and Eastern Europe.
• Manage suppliers´ performance with a focus on continuous total cost control and performance, defined improvement and innovation.
• Actively engage cross-functionally and with local business leaders as a strategic partner to drive down costs while enhancing customers' experience, product quality and productivity.
• Continuous support to Operations team in his area, increasing compliance.
• Establish an overall strategy to source different families of products and services ensuring cost savings while maintaining and improving quality. The key parameter being Total Cost of ownership.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers partnering to solve problems and ensure high quality, reliable sources of supply and information.
• Effectively negotiate pricing, contracts and SLAs with suppliers to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply according to the Corporate Procurement Policies and Procedures for RHG.
• Operate as the leader for all issues with suppliers in terms of quality, delivery service, costs and ensure alignment with all internal partners.
• Work very closely with the Corporate procurement team in HQ, implementing global contracts in the Area.

Competencies & skills requirements

• Over 5 years of successful sourcing in cross-cultural and matrix-based environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both German and English
• Demonstrated negotiation and analytical abilities
• Strong organizational and accountability skills
• Proficient in working within a global, highly matrixed organization
• Strategic thinker capable of identifying critical priorities, creating business value, and assessing potential risks
• Effective in influencing others by understanding their needs and building trust
• Skilled at generating engagement and commitment from colleagues
• Adept at managing conflict in a pragmatic and constructive manner
