Purchase Manager

Responsibilities:

• Source suppliers for aerospace raw materials and standard parts.
• Get quotes from Multiple suppliers and finalise after comparison.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Generate Purchase Orders (POs) in the ERP system.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning (PPC), Quality, and Stores for material requirements.
• Develop and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Ensure procurement complies with AS9100 quality requirements and customer specifications where applicable.
• Verify supplier documentation such as Material Test Certificates (MTC), Certificate of Conformance (CoC), and traceability records.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock.
• Resolve supplier quality issues and support corrective actions.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor master data, and purchase reports.
• Support import procurement and coordinate with logistics and customs when required.
