Summary
Procurement role sourcing MRO or IT goods/services in Stockholm; negotiates contracts, evaluates suppliers, and balances cost, quality, and delivery for long-term value.
Scope :100% and onsite 5 days/week in Stockholm
Duration: 6 months with the possibility for an extension

Assignment Overview:
The role is responsible for executing sourcing activities within either MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Operations) or IT to meet business needs. The focus is on securing an optimal balance between quality, delivery, and cost while driving long-term value creation through supplier engagement, commercial governance, and sustainable sourcing solutions.
Responsibilities:
Negotiate and execute sourcing activities within MRO or IT.
Support the organization with demand consolidation, supplier evaluations, and negotiations.
Ensure commercial governance and supplier engagement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sourcing activities with business objectives.
Negotiate agreements to secure performance and drive continuous improvement.
Drive value creation by challenging existing ways of working and proposing sustainable solutions.
Balance quality, delivery, and cost considerations to support long-term business needs.
Education (Must Have/Nice To Have):
Nice To Have:
Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
Experience (Must Have/Nice To Have):
Must Have:
Significant experience in MRO or IT sourcing, procurement, or related fields.
Proven track record of managing complex sourcing initiatives.
Strong understanding of commercial operations, leading supplier negotiations and contract management.
Strong understanding of MRO or IT operations.
Experience managing supplier relationships and supplier performance.
Experience conducting spend analysis and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Experience sourcing indirect materials and services.
Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments.
Experience working with technical stakeholders such as Engineering, Production, Maintenance, or Operations.
For IT Sourcing
Experience sourcing software, hardware, cloud services, or IT consulting services.
Experience negotiating software licensing and SaaS agreements.
Understanding of IT supplier ecosystems and commercial models.
