Purchasing Agent

• Purchase food, beverage, operating supplies, equipment, and other hotel requirements from approved suppliers and local markets.
• Visit suppliers and markets to source products, compare prices, and negotiate the best value for the hotel.
• Obtain competitive quotations and ensure purchases meet the hotel's quality standards and budget.
• Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Inspect purchased items to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities.
• Coordinate with the Receiving and Accounts Payable teams to ensure proper documentation and invoice processing.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and conduct regular market price surveys.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with hotel policies and internal control procedures.

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Good knowledge of local suppliers and markets.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; experience with procurement systems is an advantage.
• Good command of Khmer and English.
• Honest, dependable, and physically able to travel to suppliers and markets as required.
