Purchasing Analyst I

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Procurement Analyst I for our Purchasing team.

This highly motivated, data-driven individual will be responsible for supporting the purchasing department in coordinating and managing the procurement of goods and services. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient order management, accurate data entry, and timely resolution of issues.

This position reports to the Associate Director of Procurement Operations. This role is based in Somerville, MA. This position will be fully onsite for the first 90 days. After 90 days, the position will follow a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain procurement reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making.
• Assist with spend-analysis, supplier analysis, market research, and sourcing related-projects.
• Support Power BI reporting and ongoing enhancement of procurement dashboards and KPIs.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of procurement data, reporting, and dashboards.
• Support Oracle Fusion procurement activities and assist with system-related requests, testing, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Partner with team members on process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support ad hoc procurement projects and business analysis as needed.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, or related
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with Power Query and DAX in PowerBI.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends and opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate work.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across functions and communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
• Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership of assignments.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must have a reliable form of transportation

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Oracle Fusion (Procurement module, reporting tools such as OTBI, BI Published, and data modeling).
• Exposure to procure-to-pay processes, purchasing orders, supplier onboarding, or procurement operations.
• Familiarity with Procurement KPIs, spend analytics, supplier performance, or cost-savings reporting.
• Experience with advanced SQL, including CTEs and window functions.
