Summary
The Purchasing Clerk checks in incoming products/guest packages, ships items, maintains inventory records for supplies, verifies deliveries against purchase orders, coordinates with suppliers, monitors stock levels, and assists with inventory counts.
The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for checking in all incoming products and guest packages. This person is also responsible for shipping guest packages and in house needs. This person must be able to lift a moderate weight and must have good communication skills.
- Maintain inventory records for food, beverages, housekeeping supplies, office supplies, and maintenance materials.
- Receive and verify deliveries against purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries and invoices.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed.
- Maintain purchasing documents and records.
- Assist with monthly inventory counts and reports.
- Ensure purchasing policies and budget guidelines are followed.
