Purchasing Clerk

Join us for this incredible opportunity at Hyatt Regency Dallas, which is located downtown next to the iconic Reunion Tower. The Purchasing Clerk supports the hotel Director of Purchasing to maintain smooth and efficient purchasing department and operating storerooms. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to\:

· Manage dock for deliveries, cleanliness & safety

· Receive deliveries from vendors. Update po’s using invoices or packing slips from vendor

· Generate confirming po’s when necessary in PO system

· Ensure no discrepancies between po’s & invoicing.

· Ability to communicate with vendors in regards to open po’s to close orders

· Ability to work closely with Accounts Payable – delays in payment result in credit hold

· Process incoming mail, distro to departments

· Process checks for the hotel & work with Accounts Receivable to send for deposit

· Responsible for receiving POs in our e-procurement systems for all hotel departments, directly impacting inventory accuracy, invoice payment, and the reliability of our month-end close

· Prepare for & participate in Month End Duties

· Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner

· Well organized
