Summary
Manages procurement of materials, verifies orders and pricing with vendors, and tracks inventory for projects and stock in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Purchases material in a timely manner, making sure product is ordered correctly and pricing is accurate by verifying acknowledgments from manufacturers. Keeps track of material ordered for specific projects as well as material ordered for stock inventory. Accuracy and being detail-oriented are musts for this position. Must be able to communicate well with vendors as well as multiple in-house departments and work productively with a wide range of people in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Functions:
- Data entry/computer skills
- Communication with vendors and various company departments, including sales, accounting, customer service, and shipping/receiving
- Punctual and daily attendance
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Fluent in English
