Ensures orders are accurate and resolves exceptions promptly.
Procures non-routine/standardized goods and services, validating purchases for contract compliance.
Prepares and processes documentation for routine purchases using ERP and other computer-based systems.
Maintains inventory order sheets and communicates changes to practices.
Manages the complexity of a Shared Services environment, supporting multiple facilities' diverse material requirements simultaneously.
Identifies repetitive challenges and suggests process improvement opportunities in collaboration with Facilities Manager and Construction Project Manager.
Negotiates product pricing, freight, and payment terms for special requests from supported facilities.
Meets Service Level Agreement metrics for all assigned departments monthly.
Places and verifies orders with suppliers via telephone, fax, EDI, or other computer systems.
Initiates backorder resolution and expedites approved product substitutes for customers, ensuring timely and accurate communication to Requestors.
Modifies purchase orders based on research and management direction, documenting all information in the ERP system and managing communication with Requestors, Facilities Manager, and Construction Project Manager.
Maintains and builds relationships with suppliers and Requestors, as well as other users of the ERP system.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) [Required]
- Proficiency in ERP Systems [Preferred]
- Ability to type fifty or more words per minute with excellent spelling, punctuation, grammar, and oral and written communications [Preferred]
Education:
- High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
Field of Study:

- Experience in a Shared Services organization [Preferred]
- Experience in the healthcare industry [Preferred]
- Purchasing/Supply Experience [Required]
