Cleveland manufacturer seeks experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement initiatives and optimize supply chain operations. Will oversee the sourcing, negotiation, and management of vendor contracts to ensure the timely acquisition of quality materials and services. Will drive cost efficiencies, strengthen supplier relationships, and support manufacturing and logistics functions. Ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong background in procurement management within complex organizational environments.

Responsibilities

· Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies.

· Reviews and process purchase orders.

· Manager other members of purchasing team.

· Negotiates prices and contracts with suppliers.

· Selects prospective vendors and negotiates contracts.

· Schedules deliveries and ensures timely fulfillment of orders.

Qualifications/Requirements

· Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills.

· Degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.

· 2-3 years’ experience as purchasing manager.

· Supervisory experience.

Pay

• 78k-90k + Benefits
