Purchasing Officer [HDB Project]
Summary
Manages procurement for a construction firm, sourcing materials and negotiating vendor contracts to meet project needs.
Job Descriptions:
- Source materials, equipment, and supplies in accordance with operational requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing for suitable terms and conditions
- Initiate and support vendor assessment and evaluation exercises.
- Maintain approved sub-contractors/suppliers listing
- Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with project requirements.
- Any other adhoc responsibilities
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in procurement
- Good knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
