Job Responsibilities:
Sourcing & Procurements
Generate purchase orders, follow up with PO’s, confirm status and ensure delivery on a daily basis
Source and develop new vendors, craft negotiation strategies and terms on price, payment term, and lead time, and close deals with optimal terms
Business Development & Vendor Relationship:
Develop and establish long-term relationships with Korean Beauty & Home suppliers and brands
Expand Yami’s Japanese or Korean Beauty & Home product selections, extend Yami’s product leadership
Supply Chain Optimizations:
Identify growth opportunities and weakness in current Korean supply chain
Optimize Korean product cost of goods sold of Beauty and Home Category
Drive improvement in inventory availability, inventory balance, and increasing inventory efficiency
Generate purchase orders and be responsible for inventory health
Qualifications (Required):
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field or equivalent work experience
2+years of experience in purchasing and vendor management for consumer products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in bilingual language English and Korean
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong supply chain analytic skills. Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
Qualifications (Preferred):
MBA or Master’s Degree in Operations, Supply Chain or Logistics
Ability to solve problems and come up with innovative solutions
