Summary
Manages vendor performance, negotiates contracts, and implements new suppliers for a manufacturing company using quality and cost analysis tools.
Job Description
- Continuously improve and manage vendors’ performance on quality and delivery to bring the best value to the company.
- Manage ECO, new project RFQ/negotiation and implementation
- Maintain the existing good supply bases. Always look out for new alternative suppliers with better quality/service and competitive price.
- Based on the guidelines given by commodity manager, ensure best contract terms to fully protect the company’s interests.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Demonstrate skills in manufacturing/engineering process, cost breakdown analysis.
• CPM or CPSM is a plus. Familiar with ISO9001 system, quality tools application in project management, like FMEA, APQP, PPAP etc.
• Working proactive and initiative, team-working attitude
• Good reporting and presentation skills with sufficient material
• With the CWA or IWE certificate
