Purchasing & Supply Chain Analyst

Description

· Lead the sourcing, negotiation and purchase of automotive parts, materials, and components from domestic and international suppliers

· Secure the best total cost of ownership by negotiating favorable pricing, payment terms, lead times, and quality standards

· Oversee all import/export documentation, including HTS codes, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other trade compliance requirements

· Coordinate international freight movements via ocean, air, and ground transport, collaborating closely with freight forwarders and customs brokers

· Ensure adherence to U.S. Customs regulations, Section 232/301 tariffs, and other trade policies

Requirements

· 5+ years of hands-on purchasing experience, with at least 3 years focused on global sourcing and international imports

· Deep expertise in import/export regulations, customs compliance, and international shipping documentation

· Proficient in HTS codes, tariff structures, and complex trade compliance rules

· Proven track record of successful negotiations to secure favorable terms and optimize total cost of ownership

· Adept at using ERP/procurement software and advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting

· Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
