About the Role
Aiden is looking for a Python Automation Engineer to help automate complex business processes and build scalable automation solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems through Python, automation frameworks, and system integrations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop reliable automation workflows, integrate third-party services, and improve operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python automation solutions.
- Build and optimize automation workflows for business and operational processes.
- Develop and maintain reusable Python libraries and automation utilities.
- Integrate applications with REST APIs, databases, and third-party platforms.
- Build and maintain automation and testing frameworks using modern tools.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize automation pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented Python code following best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 2-6+ years of professional experience in Python development and automation.
- Strong proficiency in Python and object-oriented programming.
- Experience working with REST APIs and API integrations.
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
- Hands-on experience with browser automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Python libraries including Pandas and NumPy.
- Experience writing automated tests using frameworks such as pytest or unittest.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Docker and containerized applications
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
- Message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Linux environments and shell scripting
- Asynchronous programming and multiprocessing in Python
