Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases in Python.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on Layer 1 and Layer network systems.
- Validate hardware and software integration with optical interfaces and network switches.
- Configure and use traffic generators (e.g., IXIA) to simulate network environments and evaluate performance.
- Collaborate with developers and hardware engineers to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects.
- Document test cases, results, and defects in test management tools.
- Maintain code and test assets in version control systems (GitHub or Bitbucket).
- Continuously improve test frameworks and methodologies.
- Collaborate with design engineer and manufacturing teams to define and develop the test software for the high volume manufacturing of the high-end optical component manufacturing Closely collaborate with engineering teams to improve manufacturing yield, efficiency and cost
- Owner of Manufacturing test scripts creating, maintaining, changing control.
- Manage manufacturing software change control processes, system, through the execution.
- Collaborate with software engineer, IT and database to define the better solutions of manufacturing test data in reliability, reasonable cost, high efficiency and scalability.
