Position: Python QA Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Python QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium-based automation frameworks, BDD, and manual testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automating web applications, web services, and REST APIs, along with a strong understanding of software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium.
• Build and execute automated test scripts using Selenium BDD frameworks.
• Work with BDD frameworks such as Python Behave and SpecFlow.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and manual testing.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Perform automation testing of web applications, web services, and REST APIs.
• Identify, report, track, and validate software defects.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and quality engineering processes.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in QA / Software Testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Selenium-based BDD automation frameworks.
• Experience in Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with Python Behave / SpecFlow.
• Experience in Web Application Automation Testing.
• Knowledge of Web Services and REST API Testing.
• Strong understanding of Manual Testing and SDLC.
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in Automation Testing Framework Development.
• Knowledge of Quality Engineering tools and methodologies.
