Python Back-end Developer

Overview

Job Title: Python Backend Developer
Location: Chicago, IL - hybrid onsite
Duration: 6 months API Concepts

Responsibilities

• Understanding of API concepts like REST, SOAP, GraphQL
• Understanding of API Security like OAuth 2.0, JWT token validation
• Experience authoring, maintaining, and refactoring Terraform modules
• Understanding of Azure resource provisioning
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services
• Preferred experience with Azure API Management, Application Gateway (including WAF), Azure Front Door, Key Vault, and monitoring solutions
• Understanding of networking concepts VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints
• Proficient in GitHub Actions (workflow authoring, secrets management, environment setup)
• Experience integrating Terraform deployments into CICD pipelines
• Familiarity with automated testing in pipelines
• Ability to write and maintain Python scripts for automation
• Experience with Azure SDKs and REST APIs for resource management
