Python Backend Developer.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join us as a Python Backend Developer in Gurugram, Haryana, India. This is a full-time, on-site position with a requirement to join within 60 days. You will be responsible for architecting and developing highly scalable backend applications and APIs, designing and maintaining complex database structures, and integrating diverse third-party services. Collaboration with frontend and AI teams is essential to ensure seamless application functionality and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Architect and develop robust backend applications using Python, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
2. Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Django, Flask, or FastAPI, adhering to industry best practices.
3. Design, implement, and optimize complex database structures, ensuring data integrity and security.
4. Integrate third-party services and enterprise applications, ensuring compatibility and performance.
5. Implement comprehensive authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT.
6. Write clean, optimized, and reusable code following SOLID principles and design patterns.
7. Perform rigorous debugging, testing, and performance optimization, including load testing and profiling.
8. Collaborate closely with frontend and AI development teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
9. Maintain detailed API documentation and technical specifications for internal and external use.
10. Participate actively in code reviews, development planning, and agile ceremonies to ensure high code quality and alignment with project goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

1. Advanced proficiency in Python programming with a strong understanding of object-oriented principles.
2. Extensive experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI frameworks, including middleware and ORM.
3. In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, including query optimization and indexing strategies.
4. Expertise in REST API development, including API versioning and documentation using Swagger or similar tools.
5. Strong familiarity with Git, version control, and collaborative development workflows.
6. Knowledge of Redis and asynchronous programming with frameworks like Celery or asyncio is preferred.
