Python Backend Developer
Salary: $6,500 – $9,500 per month
Key Responsibilities
Build maintainable backend services and REST APIs using Python, Django, and Django REST Framework
Design PostgreSQL schemas, constraints, indexes, and versioned database migrations
Implement multi-tenant isolation, permissions, and approval workflows
Maintain traceable audit records across the system
Handle concurrent updates, duplicate requests, and failed operations
Build reliable background jobs
Implement secure authentication and private file access
Set up access-controlled data exports
Write automated tests for permissions, workflow transitions, and data integrity
Set up Docker-based deployment
Document APIs, configuration, backup, and recovery procedures
Good to Have
Experience with multi-tenant SaaS, ticketing, approvals, inventory, or asset management systems
Familiarity with Celery, Redis, scheduled tasks, and notification retries
AWS deployment experience
Private object storage, CI/CD, monitoring, and recovery testing experience
Audit logging and secure file handling experience
Familiarity with PostgreSQL row-level security
OpenAPI documentation experience
Prior experience integrating APIs with separately developed frontends
Knowledge of CNNetworks, NameSilo, or GoDaddy (helpful but not required)
