Python Backend Engineer (FastAPI & Docker)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (willing to travel to client locations)
Employment Type: Full-Time (W2)

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Engineer to develop server-side applications using FastAPI and Docker. This role focuses on building microservices-based backends for efficient, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance backend services using Python with FastAPI or Flask frameworks.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support microservices architectures.
• Deploy backend applications in Docker containers for portability and scalability.
• Optimize server-side logic for performance, security, and reliability in production.
• Collaborate with frontend teams to ensure seamless API integration and functionality.
• Automate deployment processes to streamline microservices delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 years of experience as a Python Backend Engineer with FastAPI or Flask development.
• Proficiency in building microservices and REST APIs for server-side applications.
• Experience with Docker for containerized deployments of backend services.
• Strong understanding of backend development and microservices architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for hosting microservices.
• Exposure to Kubernetes for orchestrating containerized backend deployments.
• Knowledge of async programming in Python for high-performance APIs.
