Python Backend Engineer
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services in Python
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for customer-facing applications
- Collaborate with front-end teams, product managers, and architects
- Ensure services are scalable, secure, and maintainable
- Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and agile planning
- 3–5 years of backend development experience with Python
- Experience with REST APIs and Flask
- Understanding of microservices architecture and integration
- Familiarity with mypy or similar typing tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
- English proficiency at B2 level or higher
- Flask Blueprints for modular API design
- Protobufs and/or DynamoDB
- React exposure for cross-functional collaboration
