Python Data Engineer
Summary
The Python Data Engineer will design and build data pipelines for a financial services project using Python, Spark, Databricks, and Azure. This is a contract role requiring onsite presence in Poland.
Our client are a global consulting firm, working on a project in the financial services sector. They are on the lookout for a Python Data Engineer to come in on a contract/freelance basis (full time, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week)
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Strong Python & Spark experience
- Databricks, Delta Lake & streaming/batch pipelines experience
- Azure experience, with Unix/Linux environments
- Data Architecture principles knowledge and being able to design low latency systems
- CI/CD experience
- Data Warehouse/Data Lake concepts experience
- Financial Services experience nice to have
Contract is running for 1 year initially, paying up to 1390 PLN p/day and will be 3 days per week onsite in Wroclaw or Krakow.
