Python Developer – AI & eCommerce Automation

Salary: ₱35,000 – ₱40,000 per month

We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and solutions-oriented Python Developer – Full Stack to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in Python development, full-stack web applications, AI-powered automation, eCommerce integrations, and business process optimization.

We highly prefer candidates with previous experience supporting eCommerce businesses, online sales operations, or BPO companies handling eCommerce and sales-related accounts.

This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced BPO environment, manage multiple development projects, troubleshoot issues independently, and deliver practical, reliable solutions within business deadlines.

You should also have practical experience using AI-powered coding tools and vibe coding workflows, such as Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms, to accelerate development, debugging, testing, and automation.

The successful candidate will work closely with management and operational teams to develop, maintain, and enhance internal systems, automated product feeds, eCommerce integrations, AI-powered listing tools, and scalable web applications.

We are looking for a developer with actual professional experience building and maintaining working systems, not just academic projects or basic AI-generated applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Python Development & Automation

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize Python-based applications, automation scripts, APIs, and internal business tools.

• Build automated workflows to reduce repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and minimize human errors.

• Develop reliable background processing, scheduled jobs, and data synchronization systems.

• Maintain and improve existing applications while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability.

2. AI Integration & AI-Assisted Development (Vibe Coding)

• Integrate AI models and APIs, particularly Anthropic Claude API and OpenAI API, into business applications and automation workflows.

• Use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Windsurf to accelerate software development.

• Apply AI-assisted or vibe coding techniques for prototyping, implementation, debugging, refactoring, and testing.

• Review, validate, and optimize AI-generated code to ensure correctness, security, maintainability, and production readiness.

• Develop AI-powered solutions for product content generation, data processing, listing optimization, and quality assurance.

• Independently troubleshoot AI-generated applications and resolve errors without relying solely on AI suggestions.

3. eCommerce & Marketplace Automation

• Develop and maintain tools supporting eBay, Amazon, WooCommerce, and other eCommerce platforms.

• Build and optimize automated product feed management, listing creation, updates, and synchronization.

• Integrate eCommerce APIs for product information, inventory, orders, and sales-related data.

• Develop tools supporting online sales, customer management, order processing, reporting, and operational workflows.

• Automate product titles, descriptions, attributes, and listing metadata using AI-powered solutions.

• Improve product listing quality, search visibility, and compliance with marketplace requirements.

4. eBay Policy Compliance & AI Feed Management

• Develop automated product feed validation and eBay policy compliance checking systems.

• Use Python and Anthropic Claude API to generate, review, and optimize product titles and descriptions.

• Build automated pipelines to identify restricted products, prohibited terms, inaccurate descriptions, and potential policy violations.

• Improve listing accuracy and reduce compliance risks before publishing or updating marketplace listings.

• Monitor automation results, investigate false positives and false negatives, and continuously improve validation accuracy.

• Maintain audit logs, exception handling, and manual review processes for uncertain compliance results.

5. Full-Stack Web Development

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance responsive web applications, dashboards, and internal management systems.

• Handle both front-end and back-end development.

• Build RESTful APIs and server-side applications using Python, FastAPI, Django, Flask, or Node.js.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.

• Integrate third-party APIs, databases, external platforms, and business systems.

• Build dashboards for monitoring product feeds, automation jobs, application performance, and operational reports.

6. Web Scraping & Data Processing

• Develop reliable web scraping and data extraction solutions using BeautifulSoup, Playwright, Selenium, or Scrapy.

• Extract, clean, validate, transform, and process large datasets.

• Maintain scraping systems when website structures or data formats change.

• Implement error handling, retry mechanisms, logging, and data quality checks.

• Improve the accuracy, speed, and reliability of scraping and data processing workflows while respecting applicable access restrictions.

7. Database Management & API Integration

• Design, maintain, and optimize relational and cloud-based databases.

• Work with MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, and Supabase.

• Develop efficient database queries, integrations, and data synchronization processes.

• Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs and third-party system integrations.

• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, security, and application performance.

8. Testing, Troubleshooting & System Maintenance

• Troubleshoot and resolve application errors, automation failures, and system performance issues.

• Conduct functional testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

• Identify root causes and implement permanent solutions to recurring technical problems.

• Review and improve existing codebases and AI-generated applications.

• Use Git, Docker, and standard development practices to support reliable deployments.

• Maintain technical documentation and provide clear project updates to management.

9. Business Collaboration & Problem-Solving

• Collaborate with management, eCommerce, sales, and operational teams to understand business requirements.

• Translate operational problems into practical technical solutions.

• Proactively identify areas where automation can improve productivity and reduce costs.

• Manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within deadlines.

• Communicate technical issues, solutions, and project progress clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Professional Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Python development, full-stack development, software engineering, or a closely related role.

• Proven experience developing, deploying, maintaining, and improving real-world business applications.

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted coding tools or vibe coding workflows in actual development projects.

• Strong preference for candidates with experience in eCommerce, online sales, marketplace operations, or BPO environments supporting eCommerce and sales accounts.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects, and deliver working solutions with minimal supervision.

Technical Requirements

Python & Backend Development

• Strong proficiency in Python for application development, automation, API integration, and data processing.

• Experience with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar Python frameworks.

• Working knowledge of Node.js and server-side JavaScript.

AI Development & Vibe Coding

• Demonstrable hands-on experience with at least one AI coding tool, such as Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Windsurf.

• Ability to use AI effectively for development, debugging, refactoring, code review, and testing.

• Experience integrating AI APIs, preferably Anthropic Claude API or OpenAI API.

• Ability to understand, validate, maintain, and troubleshoot AI-generated code independently.

Frontend Development

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Practical experience with React or similar modern frontend frameworks.

• Experience building responsive web applications and management dashboards.

eCommerce & APIs

• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.

• Familiarity with marketplace APIs, product feeds, listing management, and sales-related systems.

• Knowledge of eBay, Amazon, WooCommerce, or similar eCommerce platforms.

Databases

• Experience with SQL and database design, querying, and optimization.

• Practical experience with MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, or Supabase.

Automation & Web Scraping

• Experience developing Python-based automation scripts and workflows.

• Practical knowledge of BeautifulSoup, Playwright, Selenium, Scrapy, or similar tools.

• Experience processing, cleaning, and validating structured or large-scale datasets.

Development Tools & Practices

• Experience with Git and version control.

• Familiarity with Docker and application deployment.

• Knowledge of API security, error handling, debugging, testing, and performance optimization.

• Experience integrating Claude API or OpenAI API into production applications.

• Proven ability to deliver projects faster using AI-assisted development tools.

• Experience developing internal dashboards, order management tools, inventory systems, sales reporting, or workflow automation.

• Experience working with large product catalogs, marketplace data, and high-volume automation workflows.

• Experience with CI/CD, cloud deployment, background jobs, and production monitoring.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Equivalent professional experience with a strong portfolio of completed projects will also be considered.
