As a Senior Python Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and evolving a cloud-native SaaS platform relied upon by global financial institutions worldwide. Working with Python, Django and SQL within an Azure cloud environment, you’ll develop secure, scalable backend services and APIs that process complex regulatory data at scale.

This is a long-term day-rate contract with excellent prospects for extension or a permanent opportunity. With just 2/3 days on site per month, you’ll enjoy genuine remote-first flexibility while remaining closely connected to a high-caliber team of experienced Python engineers.

You’ll:

• Take ownership of key components of a cloud-based SaaS platform and influence their design and delivery.
• Design and develop secure, high-performance backend services and APIs using Python.
• Work closely with Business and Technical teams to shape solutions, rapidly prototype ideas and introduce new approaches.
• Contribute across the full development lifecycle, from development and testing through deployment and ongoing optimisation.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and modern DevOps practices, helping deliver reliable software at global scale.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 6 years’ Python development experience.
• Strong Python development experience building scalable, production-grade backend applications.
• Excellent experience developing APIs and backend web applications.
