We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join an ICT Development team and contribute to the development and maintenance of software solutions, with a strong focus on Python, VBA and Microsoft SQL Server.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop web solutions and automation scripts using Python.
- Develop and maintain VBA solutions in Excel and Access.
- Work on Microsoft SQL Server / T-SQL and ETL processes.
- Contribute to the migration and modernisation of Access-based solutions.
- Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Collaborate with technical teams on new features and production deployments.
- Ensure secure coding practices and maintain technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSIS, stored procedures and database design.
- Strong experience with Python and related frameworks/tools.
- Strong experience with VBA (Excel & Access).
- Good knowledge of Power BI, including data modelling, DAX and dashboards.
- Good knowledge of ETL / data preparation technologies such as SSIS and Power Query.
- Experience with Git and relational database development.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps.
- Good understanding of application security, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
- Experience with Docker.
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related technical field.
