CGI is hiring a Python developer (on-site in Hyderabad, Chennai, or Bengaluru) to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable Python applications on AWS. Day-to-day work centers on Python, AWS, and NoSQL (MongoDB) data modeling, with Docker/Kubernetes experience a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain scalable Python applications on AWS cloud platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions using NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
- Ensure high availability, performance, security and scalability of the application by following best practices in software development.
- Troubleshoot issues related to application deployment, data modeling, query optimization etc.
Job Requirements :
- 3-10 years of experience in developing Python applications on AWS cloud platform.
- Strong understanding of NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and ability to design efficient database schema's.
- Experience with containerization using Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Proficiency in writing clean, modularized code adhering to PEP8 guidelines.
