Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications
- Create and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Optimise application performance, reliability, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, and DevOps
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Contribute to architecture decisions and continuous improvement initiatives
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in Python development (Junior, Intermediate, and Senior opportunities available)
- Strong understanding of software development best practices and object-oriented programming
- Experience building and maintaining APIs and backend services
- Knowledge of frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is advantageous
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, testing methodologies, and Agile development practices
