Python Developer
Summary
DXC Technology Malaysia is hiring a Python Developer (2–6 years experience) to design, build, and maintain backend business applications and APIs, integrate third-party components, run testing, and support production systems. Fully onsite in Putrajaya; core stack is Python 3.8+ with SQL/Microsoft SQL Server, plus FastAPI, React, and Node.js as preferred skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesParticipate in solution design discussions with business and technical stakeholders.Prepare technical design and development documentation.Design, develop, enhance, and maintain business applications.Integrate third-party software components and APIs.Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing activities.Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues.Monitor and support production applications to ensure service availability and performance.Support deployment, configuration, and release activities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in delivering technology solutions.Maintain documentation, test datasets, and knowledge repositories.Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
Required Technical Skills2 to 6 years of experience in Python development.Strong knowledge of Python 3.8+.Experience developing backend applications and APIs.Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar databases.Understanding of software development lifecycle and testing practices.
Preferred Technical SkillsExperience with FastAPI.Experience with React and Node.js frontend development.Knowledge of application integration and REST APIs.Exposure to cloud technologies and modern development practices.Experience with financial services or financial market operations is an advantage.
