ELEKS Software Engineering and Development Office is looking for a Python Developer in Ukraine.
ABOUT PROJECT
Our client is one of the leading U.S. investment banks. The project focuses on building a platform that automates data transformations using DBT, generating tables, views, and data pipelines. The solution processes queued requests and executes DBT workflows in isolated and production environments.
REQUIREMENTS

4-5 years of commercial experience with Python

Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and concurrency (async/await)

Experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQL

Experience with Camunda or other BPMN/workflow orchestration tools

Understanding of cloud environments and modern infrastructure concepts (Azure, HashiCorp stack)

Experience with multi-tenant applications and tenant isolation concepts

Good understanding of Kubernetes (pods, autoscaling, resource management)

Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests

Willingness to learn and work with Java; previous Java experience will be a strong advantage

Experience with DBT will be a plus

Upper-Intermediate English or higher
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain reliable software in line with technical requirements
- Analyze requirements, and independently estimate and set up tasks’ acceptance criteria
- Evaluate and coordinate tasks’ deadlines with the Technical Leader or Project Manager
- Apply the best software development practices and coding standards to produce high-quality and performant solutions
- Stay up-to-date with modern technology and optionally obtain professional certifications
- Participate as a trainer or a trainee in various learning programs outside the main project
