Python Developer
Summary
Build and maintain Python-based web apps for clients using Django/Flask/FastAPI, REST APIs, SQL, and testing libraries like Pytest.
Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote
The opportunity
As a Python developer in our Digital & Emerging Technologies team, you will help our clients invent the future by building fast and reliable software that improves customers’ everyday lives. You will work on international projects, designing modern, high‑quality, responsive products that match or exceed expectations.
Your key responsibilities
Mainly developing new applications for internal and external clients and adding new functionalities and features into existing projects – with minimal maintenance. We use cutting‑edge technologies and care about tests, so you should be prepared to write unit tests.
Skills and attributes for success
- Very good Python 3 knowledge
- Hands‑on experience with a web framework (Django, Flask, FastAPI)
- Experience building complete solutions from top to bottom
- Ability to write and maintain scalable and performant code
- Experience working in international projects with a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of engineering standards and tooling
- Practical knowledge of testing libraries (Pytest, Unittest)
- Demonstrated logical thinking, able to convert complex requirements into actionable code
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 2–3 years of professional experience with web‑based Python application development
- Ability to write clear, structured, maintainable, well‑documented and tested code
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Experience with GIT and CI/CD
- Knowledge about Clean Code principles
- REST API knowledge
- Experience working in agile methodologies
- Very good English (minimum B2)
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) or AI development
- Other backend experience such as Node.js
- Frontend knowledge (Angular, React)
- Willingness to travel to customers’ locations on a need‑based basis
