Junior Python Developer – Front Office Trading
Elevate Partners is partnering with a leading international financial services organisation seeking a Junior Python Developer to join its front-office technology team in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in trading and financial markets who wants to develop their career while sitting directly alongside experienced traders.
You will learn how a trading desk operates while building Python-based tools, analytics and automation that support the team’s daily decision-making and workflows.
The role will involve:
- Working directly with traders and front-office stakeholders
- Developing trading tools and workflow applications using Python
- Working with market, portfolio and risk data
- Supporting and improving applications used by the trading desk
- Exploring AI-enabled tools and new approaches to automation
We are looking for someone with:
- Commercial or project-based Python coding experience
- A genuine interest in trading and financial markets
- Strong problem-solving and analytical ability
- A willingness to expand their coding and software-development skills
- Good communication skills and confidence working with business users
The organisation is particularly interested in someone technically capable, curious and motivated to learn directly from the traders around them.
