Summary
Builds secure Python services and APIs using Django/FastAPI, TypeScript, and cloud-native tools on GCP, while improving reliability and collaborating across teams.
Roles and RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and build secure application services and APIs.
Drive technical design discussions and translate requirements into robust solutions.
Troubleshoot complex production issues and lead root-cause analysis.
Improve service reliability and resilience through proactive engineering practices.
Work independently with strong ownership while collaborating across teams.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Strong Python skills (Python 3.11+ preferred) and solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with Django/FastAPI and TypeScript frameworks (Angular/NestJS).
Excellent spoken English communication skills for day-to-day collaboration with teammates.
Strong understanding of RESTful API design best practices.
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps tooling (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Helm.
Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. PUBLIC
Strong analytical mindset, learning agility, and a problem-solving approach.
Nice to have:
Basic understanding of open-source software licenses (e.g., Apache-2.0, MIT, GPL) and their practical implications in software delivery.
Familiarity with modern Python tooling (uv, Ruff, Rye) and Git workflows.
Familiarity with Go and Java.
Familiarity with identity protocols and standards: SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect.
Proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code and Codex.
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry and OpenAPI.
Visible technical engagement (blogging, GitHub portfolio, open-source contributions).
