Python Developer

We are hiring a Python Developer on behalf of our client. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications, APIs, and automation solutions using Python. It's a great opportunity for someone who loves writing clean code, solving real problems, and building scalable software.

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and backend services
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs using Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) for data storage and retrieval
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and data sources
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability
• Automate tasks and workflows using Python scripts
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and product teams to deliver features
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 0 to 1 years of experience in Python development (internships and projects count)
• Strong knowledge of Python (OOP, data structures, algorithms)
• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Good understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Experience with SQL databases and ORMs (Django ORM, SQLAlchemy)
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control workflows
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
