Python Developer
Summary
Builds and maintains Python-based backend services for an edtech platform, specializing in FastAPI, MongoDB Atlas, and AWS tools like ECS/S3, with optional integrations for messaging, chat, and LMS systems.
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer to join the project as soon as possible.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in a technical role
Strong Python and FastAPI skills
Experience with MongoDB Atlas
Basic AWS knowledge, including Batch, CloudWatch, ECS, and S3
Linux or macOS as a daily operating system — non-negotiable
Strong written and spoken English
Availability to start ASAP
Nice to Have
Experience integrating WhatsApp, SMS services such as Telnyx, and email platforms such as Postmark
Experience with WebSockets, Server-Sent Events, or HTTP streaming
Experience building chat applications
Hands-on experience with LMS integrations, including LTI, OAuth 2.0/OIDC, SAML, REST APIs, and webhooks
Experience with Canvas, Brightspace/D2L, Moodle, or Blackboard
